We made it! The last parts are recorded, the last lyrics on tape, and our nerves are shot. But all in all i think we did well. Many thanks go out to Carsten@Cobretti, Jörg@Days in Grief. and Kalle@a Modest Proposal for their support on the vocals. Endless thanks go out to Jan who led us throgh the rocky roads (hehe), and still not hates us, while we´re planing vacation and stuff, he´ll be busy becoming dad, (congratulations) plus he´s going to finish the 12 mixes, so they will be ready at the end of july. 24.06.2005 rest in peace
Only few of you will remember the early nothing in common band, being influenced a lot by our former singer holger thievessen. We often looked back on this times with a smile on our face, but now everthing turned upside-down. Holger had an accident last sunday, that he didn´t survived. A friend left, a really great guy, and a part of our lives. In thoughts we´re with his family, shocked how fast shit can happen. Holger we always keep you in our heart an memories, farewell man.

maybe there´s one or two of you that recognized we played every concert in the past week with changing bass players. the reason is that rene told us a few weeks ago to leave in order to go some kind of, let´s say different way...luck is to have friends like timo and toni helping us out...thanks a lot guys...after searching our asses off, trying to find someone who probably would fit , we met micha, who was rocking bass guitar for jupiter jones...we quickly found some kind of common ground, wich is funny, according to our band name...the nics are complete again and you´re better looking forward for the next gigs, see u...seb.

well, christmas´ over i think, and i´m a little ashamed not posting here for months, but we´ve been working all the time...after some mixing action with jan loewenhaupt, we all thought the same: we finally found someone who is able to give us the sound we´ve been looking for...kai blankenberg mastered the stuff at skyline and now the journey begins, to find a label. expect some loud music my friends...seb.

26.10.2004 we made it
what a feeling to finally feel the sun on ourselves again. after spending about 10 days underground...we made it...walked in, recorded our new album,had a great time, and crawled back home. it was a pleasure to work with jörn (thx for the cymbals), and after all the stress and all the fights and all the technical problems we´ve had a really good time. many thx to d.H. for letting us use their practicing room for sleeping, eating, and hanging out for ten days in a row. leipzig is awesome and the album will be too, at least we hope so...seb.

At last, next week we\'re off to the studio. After recording, we\'ll be back on the road with the new stuff for your listening pleasure :) Marc - The Riot Rock - did a really good job, so we\'ll be gigging - in the name of rock and roll - every weekend in November. RIOT. LISSE
17.09.2004 just like christmas ...
We finally made it. The last chords of our preproduction are on tape. The endless weeks of songwriting payed out and we\'ve got 14 new tunes ready for the studio. In Oktober we\'ll be off to Leipzig where we\'ll be taping our next longplayer with Jörn. We\'re all very excited about recording, but we\'ve earned ourselves a weeks break from the rehearsalroom ... so stay tuned ...

Yes ... you read it ... and you cant unread it ... Timo is sadly leaving the band, but he´s still playing the next gigs untill our farwell-party in november. After that we´ll be continuing-more than ever-with rene, an old friend of the family who has helped out on loads of our recordings. He will also be tampering with our 3. studio LP in oktober. Its going to be great and we´re very excited about it. LISSE
24.07.2004 Hello Rock Community !
We´ve had this homepage for quite a while now and my colleagues have often had some news to tell. So it´s about time i have my go, it´ s just a pitty that my news has got a sad aftertaste. Lets make it short. I´m going to leave this great band after our shows in september. No, this is not due to any of my colleages having drug excesses, fistfights, arguments about who gets the groupies, or even the typical "musical differences". Life around NIC is a-ok and we still like each other. In the end, it comes down to the amount of time, that my career and, in future, my family need, which does´nt allow the degree of engagement and involvement that the band deserves. There´s a new Album in the pipeline, which means lots of rehearsal, mass-touring and gig-planing. I just cant get it all to work together with my professional and private life. Sorry ! Thats life ! . With this in mind, i decided not to become the limp forth leg of a punkrockhorse full of hope. At this point I´d like to thank my band colleages, the bands I´m a friend of, the organisers, the press people, and all the other friendly people for the last 3,5 years with the band. It was a great time, with lots of fun, noise, alkohol and sweat. Special thanks to you, the ones that gave loads of support for me and the band. Please do me a last favour and keep up the support the other guys deserve. And they do deserve it !!!!. We´ll definitly see each other in future because i won´t be leaving the punkrockcircus completely. I´ll still be hurling my fingers with my band "Die Innung" and we´ll surely see each other at gigs together with NIC. OK, rock on !
